As guests arrived at the wedding of Gretchen Gerdsen and Sean Sword last fall, the multiple entrances at the rustic Krippendorf Lodge could have caused some confusion. No one was the least bit perplexed, however, because the bride had propped an old, peeling window screen from her mom’s garage against a weathered wooden bench in the circular driveway, and then asked her matron of honor to glue ribbons on it that formed directional arrows.
