Wedding of the Week

Kristin Riley & Kyle Decker
Kristin and Kyle met during their senior year at Miami University. Much to Kristin’s dismay, Kyle was a huge Cleveland Browns fan, while she was a diehard for the Cincinnati Bengals. Three years later, Kyle proposed to Kristin on the 50-yard line of Paul Brown Stadium—the day before the Bengals vs. Browns game (the Bengals won). They married on May 26, 2012. Photography: Michael Bambino & Co. Ceremony: Continental Ballroom, Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. Reception: Hall of Mirrors, Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. Flowers: Ford-Ellington. Love of the Game: During the ceremony processional, each member of the bridal party paid tribute to the couple’s favorite pastime by entering with a football and forming a tunnel for the couple to walk through as Miami’s fight song played. Pay it Forward: Rather than creating one bouquet for Kristin to toss during the reception, she asked that her florist create a custom “break away” bouquet, made up of three separate bouquets, each with well-wishing messages from the newlyweds.
